The "TRIAS Versicherung AG", subsidiary of "Lebensversicherung von 1871" (LV 1871), with its headquarters in Munich, administers its accident business with software from Erkrath.
According to the industry service "map-report", "LV 1871" is one of five best insurance companies in Germany. "LV 1871" is an innovative and high-performance life insurance specialist with more than 700,000 customers.
Its self-developed portfolio management programs were in need of an overhaul. Therefore, "LV 1871" reorganized their IT systems. They chose the ALICE solution.
In cooperation with a renowned consultancy house, the insurance software ALICE has been installed in Munich and was used in production after a mere four months. Only new products were used for the installation, a migration of existing portfolios was not planned.
At the end of April 2006, “LV 1871/TRIAS” has again decided in favour of ALICE. The migration project, including the transfer of the accident portfolio, at TRIAS has started mid-May.
